My method of cooking corn on the grill is to soak the unhusked ear for a few hours in water then grill with the husk on. The water it absorbers aids in the cooking. Really good tasting and tender.

Black bears will decimate a corn field in short order.
After they finish with your corn they will focus on your apple trees and bust the limbs down to bring the apples closer to them. .

We’ve had a pretty wet spring and summer here in Ohio so mine is doing ok. I’m certainly glad I do not have hogs to deal with like you folks do in the south. Here’s to summertime in America!
