You most definitely picked the right brew. Mine is Guinness Extra Stout but to each his own.
I remember going trout fishing with my late Kathy on the Squannacook River in central Massachusetts. It's a great little trout river and browns were my favorite there. She would fish worms or spinners and I would of course always fish flies. We caught about the same number of trout... what memories...

Picture from 1967 about three years before we were married... and yes, that's me at 18 (not the one on the bra)

What a wonderful memory Dean. My beverage would be a Guinness Extra Stout laid gently upon the surface of a Boston Lager or a Saranac Pale Ale with a wee dram nearby.

A special memory Dean; I'm sure you cherish it. I've only had a couple of real fishing partners, but here's one of my favorites. She's 21 now...

I’ve drunk my share of Guiness; just not what I’m looking for to cool off on a warm day. Sorry if that doesn’t pass your sophistication test.

You guys could settle this over a beer. Let’s get Chris and Dean in on it, too. I’ll buy…and drink an icy cold hazy IPA
