Those barrels were added after 1910 as they are fitted with the stepped wear plate.

That's good new's of the newer wear plate.Good eye. Maybe the original barrels were damaged and sent back for a new set, rather than it being a two bbl. set from the start.Would there be a letter of documentation on this shotgun?

After 1910 virtually any Parker that was sent back to the factory for any reason also received the new wear plate and bolt gratis and there are few records, if any, of this having been done that would show up in a research letter.

Eddie , if you go to the top left corner of the screen you will see " PGCA Home" Click that then when it pops up look down the column on the left side of the page and you will see " Research Letters " click that then a Bar will come up for you to search your serial # and you will find that there are records for your serial # available ,I know ,I already looked ! At that point just follow the directions to purcahse your letter !
If you haven't joined yet ,you should do so because the cost of the letter is Greatly reduced when you are a member and offsets the cost of your letter ! Other than that there are many other perks to being a member in the PGCA !
