good point ......

While we were at the Southern we heard a man with a thick southern accent call someone a "spring loaded dumb ass".... I have no idea what the spring loaded part is all about. Any idea's boys? Can anyone enlighten a northern boy what that means!

A "spring loaded dumbass" is roughly the same as a "gold plated dumbass" here in Va. The gentleman was probably from somewhere in the Carolinas.

Well I guess I will have to take the gun to a gunsmith.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a gunsmith in Northern Va area ?

Charlie ,Post some pictures ,we all like looking at each others guns ,especially when one of us picks up a new one we haven't gotten a look at before ! I am waiting for one to come any day ! Sent the check out Sunday Night ,hoping to receive it before weekend ! I hope you realize once you start shooting that 20 Ga. Parker ,you will probably become infected with the dreaded " Parker Fever " ,most of us here have already contacted this disease ,it promotes symptoms of constantly searching for the next Parker purchase and unbelievable problems on how to extract money from the existing budget ! Once you catch it ,you have got it ,I have never heard of any one ever being cured of it ! Good Luck with your new gun and enjoy it now that you have it up and running ! Russ
