Count me IN - and with a little bit of "sweet-talkin" I may bring a new friend who doesn't shoot clays but hunts deer, moose and grouse (the back-woods Maine way )

Alright I’m not trying to be a smart ass , but does backwoods Maine grouse hunting mean riding the road until you find the grouse getting grit on the side the road and ground sluicing them ? When I was up there deer hunting 20+ years ago all the pictures I saw of folks with dead moose they all had a common theme (close to the road).

Some do it that way while others walk the woods sneaking up on them and popping their heads off before they take wing… if they are quick enough.

To each his (or in this case, her) own. The law allows for both ways, but NOT for shooting from a vehicle.

No joke all the pics of dead moose I saw up there usually the road and or a vehicle were in the picture . And I have no problem with it if that’s the way the person wants to do it . Heck I keep telling the folks that run the tower shoots that they need golf carts as I’d prefer transportation over walking
