Can anyone give us the information on the "no sales" at RIA or Morphy for this eight gauge?

I saw and handled it at the Vintagers. Next to the Grade 5 8-gauge hammer gun, the best Parker 8 gauge I've ever seen.

Apparently there is a big difference between a GH 8 and a DH 8. There will also be a bigger difference when Norman Strebe's CH 8 finally comes on the market. I think I will be bidding on that one. I haven't seen it since I was a teenager, but I liked it then and I will like it when it comes up at auction. Kevin, the Grade 5 eight gauge you saw is the best 8 gauge Parker in the country. I can only guess who owns it now.

Yeah, Milton, what's that all about? You would think that by now someone would have been able to negotiate a deal. Apparently, Crosnoe is firm on his price. The 34 inch barrels and the flat rib were apparently worth a few grand to the buyer of the Poulin gun. I have always thought that 64 grand was a fair price for the Crosnoe gun.

Didnt a DH Titanic barreled 8 ga sell on GI about 2 years ago for around 29k? I love my Parkers and 8 gauges but if I had 65k to spend on a gun I would try to spend a bit more and have a WR Droplock 8 gauge built .

Milton, you couldn't come close. I think Watson Brothers may have prices posted for eights and fours.
