Ammo one has had some of these low brass 8 gauge shells for years . Always thought they looked neat .

I’d be curious to know the alloy of the buckshot . The three sizes I cast myself are generally plain old wheelweight alloy or at most water quenched wheelweights . I’ve not had an opportunity to try the 000000 but the 0000 and 00000 knock a deer ass over teacups if you do your part .

I'd be glad to show you some or maybe you would be interested in all the buckshot for reloading purposes? I plan to be at the Southern. Stan |

Bring some with you I’d atleast like to look at it ! I’ll bring a few 00 Hornady pellets and a couple of my cast 0000 and a pair of large channel locks to squeeze them in comparison . I wish I had a hardness gauge but I don’t . Still squeezing or checking hardness won’t tell us the alloy .
