Adam your gun is a Grade 2 or GH, the "H" being hammerless. It is in the book and there are surviving records for it so I would strongly urge you to join the PGCA and order a research letter. The book shows it as a 30" extractor gun. As far as the safety or lack of goes it looks absolutely correct to me.

Also has a Beavertail which is unusual I suppose for that gun. And a PGCA letter would be a must! Interesting gun Adam.
