Does the stamping on the lug ring any bells? I would think that would be a signature mark

28 and 32 thousands constriction on a 28 gauge would be 028=extra full and 032 would appear to never have been choked


Italians choke marks I find would be one* full choke, three stars *** modified ,but that would not equate to the 28, 32 constriction marks

I enhanced Mills' image, and it looks like some marks were ground off

Very possible stuff was ground off

If the top rib duplicates Parker matting without the barrel steel or address on the barrels it maybe a product of Lefever Arms. Without proof marks I doubt those barrels originated in Europe or Canada.

That is just what it does Craig.

The Lefever shop makes the most sense. The rib matting is just as Craig describes. Anyone else care to chime in?
