1 out of 120 makes for a special Parker. The refinish does not look overdone.and the twist barrels add a lot of character compared to blued steel. She's definitely a keeper! |

Mervyn ; You sound like me ,I like unique items ,The odd barrel lengths , Very few produced etc. Here is one ,The Parker Story has this gun listed as the only known 25 " Titantic Steel barreled D Grade in 28 Ga., non ejecter , just a little early for ejecters ,the only thing that would make this nicer in my mind is if was Damascus Steel !

Very nice little D grade.I've never shot a 28 gauge, I have a hard enough time hitting anything with a 20! I had a chance to purchase an Ithaca 28 gauge 1 1/2 grade but settled on a Parker GH 20 with damascus barrels. Circa 1900. It is currently being restored as someone had belt sanded the stock and the damascus pattern was very faint. I felt that it would be a shame not to see how she looked 110 years ago. Merv |
