Carried my circa 1891 EH 28” loaded with a homecast slug in the right barrel and homecast 0000 Buck in the left barrel . I used the slug last year in another Parker 10 to take a deer but never the 0000 Buck . Had a 1 1/2-2 1/2 year old doe come within 26 yards of me so I shot and as might be expected all eight of the pellets found her and dropped her on the spot . Other then skeet birds or paper targets this deer is the first living thing this gun has killed since coming in my possession.
