I'd say that rod has hardly been used at all. Doesn't take much landing and releasing of fish to stain the cork more than that. It looks brand new. What a beauty.

Charlie had two, both very nice. He sold me one of them years ago. Parker-Hawes rods were standard with two tip sections. I do not know if this is the one you had.
