The wood is one of the reasons i bought it. I'm looking at a ghe but it's got vh wood and i just can't pull the trigger

Bachelder look ed at it and he said it's one of the nicer ph's. That's good enough for me

Maybe I should stop looking at pictures of refinished barrels

Most of the ones with refinished barrels really needed it, what with composite patterns that were either almost invisible or were obscured by grime and old oil and/or rust mixed with crud.

Yours is most definitely not a candidate, in my opinion.

I pretty much know that just thinking out loud. This sudden addiction to Parkers has many scenarios going through my brain. Maybe not sudden, more like a rekindling. Next I'll be after a grade 3, or a good ,2 or affordable 4. But they all gotta fit me and be good shooters because I can't afford collectables just for collecting

There's a really nice Grade 2 for sale on the gunbroker for sale forum.

I don't think it's for sale anymore. I looked at it. Lop too short. If there's one thing I realized, is there are a lot out there and my numbers will show up sooner or later. I just need to practice a little patience and be right there when it shows up and i got the cash in hand

Be careful....

A good many of us still have "project guns" a result of the steep learning curve from long ago.
