The gun is all there, but condition is not great cosmetically. So the gun would rate lower on a percentage scale.
The gun is looked at as what it is in the condition it is in. And, the gun also would be considered a great candidate for restoration by most. Guns like this are just plain difficult to assign a value to since you cannot open up a book and find a value to go on. So, i woild not expect that many are going to tell you what the gun is "worth" most will just make offers. Which doesnt help in trying to make sure you are getting a fair price. This particular gun is a perfect example of one that every penny spent on restoration would be recouped in the end result. A great investment.

Again thank you for your comments, the gun is dirty but cared for. That being said it has been used a lot. The 28" barrels have the most use, the 36" barrels don't seem to have been used much at all.

Nice gun. From the dark photos I can't tell the condition but I'm out here in the middle and disadvantaged. Because of my inexperience I can't tell if it is just dirty, beat up, or much else including the barrel steel.
Not many of these around. Here is one that has been rattling around in the truck with the bird dogs. |

Here are some more pictures, as best as I can tell the engraving on the shield is CWH. The gun locks up very tight with both sets of barrels. Also the 28" set was the primary set and both sets exhibit bores that are like mirrors. Thank you again for all of your help!

It appears that there is order book information available for this serial number. That information may include the identity of the original purchaser.

Immediately following your serial number, there is a large group of guns mostly consecutive numbers, that were exhibited at the 1893 World Fair. You can see this list of guns in Volume 2 of The Parker Story, chapter titled "Show Guns".
