Yes and no. They may require some fitting to make them functional. But more of the issue is that the dish in the top of the lever can be different from gun to gun, so it likely would not line up with another frame if installed.

There is also some variations in some of the frame sizes.

If it were up to me, all top lever hammer guns would have a fish-tail lever.
Lifter guns, well, you can't mess with perfection.
