So, my big question (which I'm sure we'll cover in the course, but I'd like to start hunting down whatever parts I need) regards the safety. Will the disassembly instructions linked in the FAQ allow me to determine what I need for these parts, or do I need to do something differently?

You are likely missing the safety jacket assembly from the stock. I do not think that my test down instructions address that part of not since it is all in the stock.

So the slide, jacket, spring, and lever would presumably be what I would be looking for?

Feel free to send me pics of what you have going on once the action is removed from the stock. Or at least the trigger plate. You can tell from that point if the safety jacket is in the stock or not.

You are at least missing the safety button, spring and pin.
