Dave, are you able to eat those Pigeons? If so, how are they? Steve

Hi Stephen.
Yes i do eat them and very nice they are too. I take of the breast meat and
roll in flour or egg and milk and bread crumbs and fry them in a hot pan.
I like them pink in the middle with two pineapple rings.
plus chips.yum-yum.

My brother in law in the Philippines hunts wild pigeons although they use 22 rifles shooting 22 Shorts or Air Rifles . Back in 2009 he took me with him one day . They get in blinds and wait for them to land in the Palm/Coconut trees and then pop them . You'd have a hard time wing shooting these birds in that jungle like place he took me .

I might add also my BIL's wife cooked a bunch of the wild pigeons . They call it pigeon adobo . I suppose the closest way for me to explain how they tasted is say just imagine "teriyaki pigeon" or pigeon cooked in teriyaki sauce . They were rather tastey or so I thought .
