Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

There seems to be one great dog in every hunter' s lifetime . My short haired pointer I had to carry up the hills to get on flat ground to grouse hunt her last year .after a couple hours she would lay down and sleep . She hunted with me 17 winters .
Great bird and story .

Guess its time to post a picture of Abby with her gun. Was taken at a local shooting preserve in late March of 2013. She had a blast that day. Was just about deaf at that point and saw a pheasant flush wild and took off after it. Ran about 400 yards as fast as the old legs would carry her. I was chasing and yelling and of course she couldn't hear me. Got up there and the bird was in the edge of the woods and she was too tired to go in the thick stuff after it. My other Golden (Abby's niece Gracie) flushed it and we wing tipped it and it flew another 200 yards and hit the ground. Gracie ran it down and Abby and I walked back to the truck while Gracie brought it back. That was the last hunt we had together. Between old age and a bad hip it was too hard on the old girl. Miss her every day. Anyway the picture taken that day;
