My friend did have one of the new Marlin LC's from the early "70's. That boy can really shoot and was actually shooting some of the easier targets yesterday with his left hand behind his back, swinging with his right hand only.

Harold, you're making Team Fox awfully nervous. Who is this mystery man? Oh, what am I saying? If he's truly that good, I'm sure Messrs Suponski and Romig have already offered him a lucrative signing bonus via cell phone! Those two could make the final edit of "Great Performances" based on their legendary, talent acquisition capers, alone!!!

OK, our very close friend, Mr. Skeuse, must admit that his gun was made under contract by a company in Japan, through Winchester. This is a bit different from a gun that was made in the Marlin factory by the owners of the L.C. Smith name. I don't see much harm in letting someone use a 1971 Smith in the Challenge. It is a real Smith, made in the Marlin factory. I see a bit of a problem with the use of Parker Repros. The Skeuse company has no connection with the original Parker or Remington company or factory. The CSMC Fox is a real Fox and should be welcomed in the Parker-Fox competition at the Northeast Shoot.

Man I'm sorry Bill but I just had to bite on that statement.
1)What is the harm with letting someone use a repro? Do they shoot better?
2)Tony Galazan has no connection to the original Fox factory. They may be licensed but he didn't work there or own it then.
3) In my opinion the CSMC is not a real Fox. Its gorgeous, but it is not an original Fox.

Do y'all have to use vintage shells for this event?

Isn't this competition supposed to be, you know, all in good fun?

Lies, lies.... all lies.

No. 1 - Never done that - never will!

No. 2 - Never done that - never will!

Gents, it has been decided that Parker Reproductions WILL be allowed in the Fox/Parker Challenge.

Thanks for that info Dave.

A Parker Reproduction is as much a Parker as a CSMC Fox is a Fox, or an Ithaca Classic Double is an Ithaca, or a CSMC Model 21 is a Winchester Model 21.
