8 ga hull resizer
i got my hull rezizer today that a friend made for me..i was gona have one made from a wrist pin out of a truck enjine but wayne said they are to hard .the machine shop had some softer material so they took a shell and measured and bored out a heavy piece that looks like a wrist pit...first i hammered in a few with a brass drift some were ok but some were stretched at the lip of the brass...my dad gave me and old press this evening and after about a hout of unfreezeing rusted bolts and such i got it to working with this i canresize a 8 ga remington black hull in one pull of the press..now getting the hull back out of the die or wrist pin is a little more trouble i used a 3/8 extention about 8 inches long to knock them back out...i then tested all the hulls in the parker eight ga..then loaded up 3 shells and shot one of them ...any way a fellow can make him a resizer pretty easy if you know somebody with a machine shop....charlie
