This is clearly a high quality Dougall. I have a Dougall pigeon gun which is almost identical except that mine is Lockfast., built on a modified A&D action. Is the gun a snap action? Is it an ejector gun?

The Damascus barrels are ejector and the steel extractor. I am not sure exactly on the action.

Default Buy Dougall

One is always asking for trouble in suggesting the value of a gun.
I can only tell you that based upon my own Dougall collecting, the price range could be between $3K and $5K. If you like the gun, you should buy it. If I had the opportunity to buy it, depending on price, I would buy it for my collection. It is an excellent example of Dougall's work.

Bill, do you think this member will share a few pics? I'd really like to see it as well. Biggest I have seen was a lock fast in 8 GA in Cabelas Hamburg. Here is a better pic of my 10 GA and Stanton locks. Project completed thanks to Dewey Vicknair. Included new firing pins and new hammer spurs....outstanding job.

I am looking forward to some fun with it waterfowling this season.

The deal never worked out for me. The gentleman sold the gun elsewhere.
