Steve should just be glad that the hole is not through the makers mark. That is a very common issue with holes from iron sights or scopes. Much harder to repair too.

Another way to fix if be wanted it 100% correct would be to find a VH rib and swap it in.

I stumbled accross this gun on GB a min ago. So I can only assume that you are just looking at it Steve. Since the seller is in NY and you are in NH.

I see that additional photos in the auction show that they are Trojan Barrels and the dolls head has a screw on the back face of it, kind of like as on an ejector gun. But the screw is larger. I can only assume this is what is holding the dolls head on. ???

Other notes on the gun as I see is that the forend checkering is not correct at all for a VH or any other Parker, I might add. Also, this gun has cyanide case colors. So those have been redone at some time. A wile ago I would guess considering the amount of wear to the colors.
