I can only agree that Carl did a terrific job of organizing, coordinating and tabulating the results of the 10th Annual Challenge Cup Shoot. He never showed signs of stress and made the PGCA vs. LCSGCA Challenge Cup event appear entirely seamless. Carl is completely unflappable and makes it look so easy (when we know it is NOT). A BIG round of applause for Carl Brandt please.

Thanks Carl. The PGCA is a better organization for having you in it. BTW... I really appreciate my shooters pin.

I also wish to thank Carl for everything he did in the tent, along with Jim Hall and son Benjamin. I was helping on the L.C. Smith side and know of some on Team Parker.
Great shoot and had a wonderful time.

For those of you that could not make the shoot, here is a picture of a truly great shooter and a fine gentleman.

For those of you who are unsure of the shooter, it is Dr. John Truitt.

I would like to personally thank Carl for a great job handling the Challenge event. This was the most fun I've had in years. Maybe because I wasn't responsible for anything. These things don't just happen by themselves. Someone has to spend a lot of time and energy to make it all come together. It may seem seamless but it's not. Thanks again to Carl and all the other volunteers who make this all possible. John

John, I couldn't agree more! The amount of work that goes into making an event such as this happen is huge. Without Carl's dedication and the help from our volunteers this would not have happened. Carl you are "Da Man" and a pretty damn good shot to! Thenk You so very much Carl......

Edward Blake looks on as Benjamin, Carl and Deb Frey shoot the practice round. Bill Mullins hands off the trophy as L.C. out scored the Parker team by three targets. The most encouragement by some youngsters I've seen in awhile. Deb Frey high lady award. Benjamin high junior award for shooting the clays course. BIG Thanks to Carl for keeping us all up beat. Thanks to Tom Wooden, Larry Frey, John Davis, John Truitt, Deb Frey and I know I forgot someone for helping with sign ups at the table. Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Bishop and Romig for mannig the raffle gun table. Oh by the way Team Parker won the hammer gun event by eleven targets.

I also would like to give a big “Thank You” to Carl for the extraordinary effort he puts into organizing and running this event. Without that effort this event might not happen and after attending the last ten Challenge events I personally am hoping for ten more. Carl was the first one there every morning and the last to leave and yet even with all the responsibility of running the event when it was his turn to shoot he stepped to the line and shot some of the best scores of the weekend. A true gentleman and a fine shot.

I would also like to thank all the folks that donated their time and efforts to help in the tent. That especially goes for the ladies who were there supporting their husbands as well as this organization. These gals are at many of our events and their help is very much appreciated.

With great weather and lots of good camaraderie, this Challenge Cup event was one of the best yet. Even though we came up a little short the PGCA was well represented and will try to build on it's 6/4 advantage next year.

Thank You!

Thanks for all your kind appreciation, and thanks to all of the shooters without whom this shoot would not happen. Thanks specially to the folks who handled registration. I will not try to name them all as I'm afraid of leaving someone out. I am truly grateful for your help.

I must apologize for not responding sooner. It seems to take longer these days to recover from all the excitement and travel.

Thanks,
Carl.

Thank you Carl. I hope your term of service is at least as long as Mark's.
