Richard, can you tell how cold it is by looking at the air? I read an adventure story from the 50's about a couple spending a winter near the Brooks range. Claimed they could look out the cabin window (not at the thermometer) and know within a few degrees how cold it was.

You definitely want to keep the fire going in that kind of cold. Thanks, Brian

A balmy 25 here today. Little to no wind so Daisy and I had a nice walk for about three hours at the Haymarsh.
