I hunt with several DHE's in 16 and 20 but don't use a 12. If you like the gun buy it, shoot it and enjoy it's history.

I've got a DHE 12 gauge with 34 inch barrels that is a duck killing machine when I do my part. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
