What is the approximate cost of doing that DT conversion?
A nice extra in doing a conversion to DT is increase in LOP.

When I started looking for a Reproduction, I called Brian Dudley and got some ballpark figures. There are threads here that show Brian's work. I think it best if someone else is interested that they contact Brian. I will say I thought it very fair.

I have to agree. I never really gave these guns much thought as I prefer originals but after looking at one up close there seems to be alot of workmanship that went into these guns for the money. I have the original Brochure from the 80's and read where they are built pretty much on the same specs as the originals and even most parts will exchange. I can see where people might want to hunt with one of these instead of using one of their high condition original Parkers. Also found a hangtag in the case that is marked Emmebi(not sure about spelling) From what I know those are well built gun cases and the tag is marked 26" barrels and will fit 28 or 20 gauges. Did anybody else find this hangtag in their case?

Parker repro. cases were made in Italy (best of my knowledge) ,I don't think the quality is that good. It's OK !

Are the quail 1/quail2 choked guns that rare or is this just overpriced? I was shocked to see what it was listed for compared to others.

The Orvis gun is "listed" at $9200. The example I posted earlier in this thread actually "sold" for $8050, the highest price I have seen for a 26" 28 gauge gun with single trigger. The Orvis gun may disappear, but not because someone paid $9200 cash for it.

That's a lot for a ST, 26" repro. The gun may be like new, but if you are going to use it find one has 28" barrels and open the chokes.

Q1/Q2 choking is hard to find and does afford a premium, but not anywhere near what this seller believes.
