Both serial #’s have records available. I guess I’ll need 2 letters. Per the serialization book, the receiver left the factory with 30” Bernard barrels (wow, that must have been an amazingly beautiful gun) and the barrels started life on a grade 2 gun.

Nice! 12 gauge guns on a one frame are nice handling guns, especially with short barrels.

At 7lbs and .005 in the right barrel it might even get a chance at a grouse cover or 2.

I only own one 12 gauge on a 1 frame, but they really feel good. They seem more dynamic than the other frames. It's a shame the Bernard barrels are gone, but that engraving is beautiful!

Here's 65685 12ga #1 frame 30" but to fishtail, 7lbs 4oz. The engraving appears done by the same hand.

Not a big "engraving guy", but really like the engraving on this gun. Nicely done!
