Grayson, I don't know if you would be interested in doing it yourself, but a 4 oz bottle of Brownell's Classic Rust Blue is only $13.49. It doesn't take much for equipment and for a few of days work you could save a fair chunk of change. That, and there is the appreciation of the results when you do it yourself. Like you say, you're not looking for perfection.
