Here are the ceiling racks. They are very easy to make and hold alot of weight. Frank
P.S. Glad to heard from you Destry. I miss you at the sxs event. Hope you can make to one soon. |

What a wonderful place to hang out with a cup of coffee or a cigar or a glass of your favorite stuff....
I could use a place like that to sit and write articles for PP. Simply outstanding. |

I drilled some holes in the joists of my gun room (er...basement) and set some dowels in them. I store extra barrels on them.

Neat idea.
I would need to pay close attention to the strength of the wood and the direction of the grain. I've had one bad experience with a failed wooden rack that I would never like to repeat. |

You had the bad experience.... I still cringe everytime I put a gun in that darn rack.....

That's exactly the experience I was referring to... I was simply leaving out any names DAVE to avoid embarrassment to negligent parties heretofore not identified.

Negligent..? Are you serious... Maybe we should just put the guns in a corner rather than use that rack you built when you were 6 years old or whatever. I still want to use it for kindling....
