You're right Scot, it doesn't seem logical, but it did happen and there is someone that does know! . . . and it was told to me in a direct conversation I had with this individual that is very, very, very close to the Parker Reproduction project. The factory did indeed stray away from sequential/chronological numbering - not necessarily with the SCCs, but with another model. If it occurred with other models, it very well could have occurred with the Sporting Clays Classics as well.

I would think they built them hap-hazardly maybe when ordered by the dealers. Or just how they fell in assembly by the builders???

Harry, is yours a Sporting Clays Classic model with "ISC" stamped on the barrel flats where Parker Reproductions choke designations are customarily stamped? The reason I ask is your gun's serial number falls outside of the usual range of SCCs.

Good for you Phil and welcome to the forum! You're going to really appreciate the versatility of the SCC. How about showing it to us in the "Let's see some wood" thread? You purchased SCC 12-1526 from Josh, I see he's got another SCC, 12-1484 currently listed on GI.
