Hmmm... come to think of it, tenderloins and backstraps all around would really be nice Larry. Should be a great shoot!! I can't wait.

I'd be interested in shooting with some new people. I will be at Addieville this coming Wednesday afternoon for clays, steaks and cigars with guys from my local cigar shop. We did it last year (it was my first experience shooting clays) and it has been a downward spiral into vintage American doubles ever since.

Thanks to al who have expressed interest in a Fall and/or Winter shoot at Addieville. Let's see what the weather is like in January. If we get a decent 'warm' spell, I'll take the lead on setting something up. Not sure how much lead time we will need but I will be shooting some pheasants at Addieville over the next 2 weeks ad will talk with the folks down there to better understand/get a handle on lead time for scheduling with them etc. and post same here. Stay tuned.

By the way, my bird hunt with a dear fried that I haven't seen in 5 years in Northern Minn. (Cass County) was terrific. I took my recently acquired WW Greener and a nice little 20 a. Parker Trojan. Parker 5 Greener 1. Parkers ruled for me this week. Also had the good fortune to run into Bruce Day and C. May as we were leaving one covert. What a great chance meeting ad surprise to meet these gents. You just never know when you are going to meet fellow PGCA Members. Frosting on the cake!

I am thinking of a Saturday in January 2015 for a PGCA fun clays shoot at Addieville. Assuming favorable weather. I will call Addievlle to talk with the folks there to set a date. Will post results.

How does Saturday December 13 work for a sporting clays fun shoot at Addieville ? Just got off the phone with Sally at Addieville and the 13 th of December is a good for them, I just need to give them an idea of how many will be coming. They have some tournaments in January so I decided to move it sooner. Hence Dec 13.

So please chime in and let me know if you plan to shoot with us.

We can cover foodstuffs etc. later

Allen,
I hunt every Saturday from now until December 27 so I'm sorry to say I will be unable to attend.
