Default Mark Beasland- excellent workmanship

Thanks for sharing on this fine looking DH. Interesting that you mentioned that Mark's daughter re-cut the checkering. Believe I read in Peter Johnson's Parker book that a Mrs. Hanson was one of the top checkerers at Parker, and that she did that work on the fabled "Czar's" Parker..

I suppose she may have worked on the original stock on Parker 168304 but the gun was restocked at some point and in my humble opinion the checkering on the replacement stock isn't really up to the standards of a A1S

Default Czar's Parker- where is it now??

Thanks Dean, I do recall seeing the fotos somewhere of the re-stocking of at least the buttstock of this legendary A1-S. Does Jack Puglisi still own it, after his "spectacular" bid when this Parker was on the block at James D. Julia's?? Wonder if the present owner would shoot it- 32" Full and Full- No 2 Frame?? A fine Live Bird Gun indeed--

If I owned it I would shoot it... why not? it's been shot before.
