The main difference between yours and mone that I see is the table. Mine has a cloth on it and yours looks uncovered. Other than that, most everything else is the same.

I assume yours was your fathers? Is that story as them being for the employees accurate.

Mine came from a collection of castings my grandfather had set aside, as unique, or interesting to him in some way.
I can’t say whether the story you were told is accurate, But it seems unlikely. Was the seller related in some way to a Parker employee? And, did that employee work in the foundry?

The detail on the edge of the table appears as though it is a few courses of brick, or stone. I think some of this might be hidden by the paint.
