A dealer friend up here had a completely custom single shot .700 Nitro made a few yrs back. What a monster! I'm sure it cost more than my house. Can't imagine buying the ammo for that thing. Those shells were huge.

That is a classic calibre to say the least. I think you would need enough dacron to keep the powder in place so it will burn uniformly. That will make a nice deer rifle for sure, were a little short on Lion in the USA

Wayne you probably already know this but Hornady has 450-400 3 inch loaded cartridges for I believe about $130.00 per box of 20.
