William, Do everything that Jack suggested but buy yourself a can of Ballistol. Spray a cotton cloth till it is wet with the stuff and wipe the whole gun down wood and all. Run a couple of patch's soaked with it down the bores and leave it. I have had Parkers soaking wet and after using this stuff not a speck of rust anywhere.
