Congratulations on the purchase. There’s magic in a Parker 28. Have fun!

Enjoy your 28 Jay. I bet you will shoot it as well as anything you own and with a smile every time you break a target or bag a bird.

I know I do.

Nice 28 Jay, still on my wish list. So what did the real owner think about the fake listings?

Jay,

Congrats !

It was a beautiful gun, Seth was nice enough to let me see it a little while back. Good guy to deal with.

Enjoy !

The seller who had the gun on consignment, said he reported the fake GunBroker listings to the FBI. I don't know if anything came of it.

I am glad I got this one and it let's me shoot one more category at the Southern next week

Your right about that and hopefully I can find a good one(mint skeet if possible) at the upcoming Southern or find somebody who will part with one.

Congrats on a joining the small bore club. I have both an O frame and OO frame 28's and there a pleasure to hunt with. You'll enjoy every shot with it I'm sure.

I am getting a lot of vicarious enjoyment watching as Jay expands his collection of vintage guns of especial interest, and sharing the specifics, photos, and their developing stories.

And I like the ambitious implications of his using the word “first” in the thread’s title.

Nice one, even if it is still for sale on GB. :-)

Everyone wants a $4350 Parker 28ga, right?
