This show is on my bucket list and I really tried to fit it in to my work schedule this fall and could not get it done. I pulled this from there web site to give you an idea of what to expect. It makes me want to see what it is all about.

Something to think about:
If all our tables (2800 8ft. and 1300 6ft.) were placed end to end they would stretch 5.7 miles!

If you spend the whole 18 hours we are open to the public and divide that by 4,200 tables, You will have 15.4 seconds to look at each table.

Default Seeing the whole Tulsa Show

I have been trying to see the whole show for years. When it is packed and people are moving both directions trying to look at tables on both sides in can get hectic. It takes a good pace to see all the tables in an 11 acre building in one day. I have found some of my best stuff there and also been injured by an attached bayonet. My sons and I have had some of great road trips there and will hopefully have a few more.

It is the mother of all shows. I like it because we get to drive right inside the show to our tables and unload. You better be ready for some serious horse trading. I will be at the spring show if my health holds up. Thomas

Thomas wish you well on the health issue, I can vouch for the show being the mother of all shows, was there a few years ago passed on some guns I really liked figuring they would be there and when I came back I could haggle some on price missed a nice B grade 12 ga with great condition because of that! Note if you see a gun there you want, haggle on price, do not wait, for it will be gone when you come back! For me now it is a little far to go unless I take the RV just might do that, Gary

Precisely! At Tulsa you must walk around with a bag of cash, and buy IT when you see IT!! Or... 20 minutes later it's gone!

Saw an interesting pair of consecutively numbered VH guns at the show. Both were 20 gauge with 32" barrels. Both were DT guns with one being a PG and the other a straight stocked gun. They were being offered by a dealer and were lacking in condition but still a neat set numbered as such. Managed to find an LC 20 bore field grade with 32" tubes and "factory" 3" chambers marked as such. Needs a little care but it's worth it IMO.

I'd ve VERY interested to see these guns... and a factory letter authenticating them! Why?

1) Because I don't think Parker made up many "matched pairs."
2) If they did, I don't believe they would be lower end VH grade.
3) The PG and straight stocks make no sense in a truly matched pair. The stocks should be both the same.

I'm not saying they're not authentic. I'm just saying they're VERY odd under the accepted parameters of a matched pair...

They are not a matched pair and I did not mean to imply as such. They are just two consecutively numbered guns.

Apologies for reading "matched" into your use of the word "pair." My English gun mind understands "pair" as a specific type of entity...
