410 barred 20 guage
Hi guys. Having looked the gun and barrel over I can say that it is NOT a Parker Reproduction 410 barrel. That gun started out as a 20 ga with a splinter forend. I don’t know the 20 ga barrel length that was originally on it. As several have mentioned the 410 barrel is a “Parker Gun Works” barrel. In my opinion if someone wants that for your gun I don’t see it as a collector added value. The wall thickness on the breach must be very thick to move the barrels to the center of the firing pin hole and to the edges of the frame so it fits. The engraved barrel wedge on the breach end I can not see. Hopefully Wayne will be happy with it. Good luck!!

That's why I wondered what the weight of the gun is. There was a set of barrels from the same manufacturer listed for sale on GI some time back, but they weren't fitted to a gun.

410 barrel weight
Hi guys. I have a set of 410 barrels but don’t have a small enough scale. I’ll go into the office in the next few day and let you know what they weigh.

Scot, where did those barrels come from? Why aren't there more out there?

No clue (Remington perhaps?). And, I have no idea what's out there. I did wonder if Wayne's gun was fitted w/the set pictured in my post but there are differences in the stamping, so apparently not.

Although the stamp that Brian showed was very similar, it was not the stamp that was used on the barrels in this thread. In this picture you can see that there are differences in font size, letter shapes and spacing between the arched parts and the center part.
