It says "Deluxe Field finish" on the sheet from Cody. Is the gun marked DELUXE on the trigger plate?

When they added the 3-inch 20-gauge to the Model 21 Duck Gun listing in the January 2, 1954, Winchester catalog, they changed the name in the catalogs to Model 21 Magnum Gun. Have any guns marked MAGNUM on the trigger plate been observed? |

I don't think anyone knows the answer to that one. However, I don't think it's the customer. I've never seen an order that specified "No grade stamp".

In my skeptical mind I sometimes wonder if some of those trigger-plate stampings were done at New Haven or New Britain?

What do you make of un stamped floor plates but grades being called out in Cody searches. |
