Congrats on a very nice bird! But I'd really like to know more about that load. Where did you get that loading data from? What is the velocity and pressure? I've been looking for a load like that. I'm stuck with a 1-1/4 oz. load right now, and it seems a shame to waste all that hull capacity, but I can't find a load listed like yours that has acceptable velocity (1100-1200) and pressure (7500 or less). Thanks,

Jim

nice bird scott..really sharp photo...bet you gave that old bird the surprise of his life at that time of the morning...what do you think a 3 year old bird...it dont get any better than what you just done using a ready roll of your own makings and a grand old 10 ga...hope you good luck with the next bird.... charlie

hi thanks, some where in Bell's load info he had a 10 ga 1 3/4 oz 40 grs of bluedot so i backed if off to 38 grs to 1 1/2 oz. shoots nice/ found 1 1/2 loads shoot the best patterns in all 3 of my 10's .and 6's shoot the best in shot size , but 4;s and 5's are not far behind . scott
