Imagine what that would weigh if all the holes were filled with loaded brass hulls. No wonder the handle is missing. It appears it was made to store the gun with the lifter button up.

Default My Cased Parker (

I purchased serial number 79400 12 gauge Quality 0 Top Action Hammer in 2003 and it was well worn but not abused. Parker letter states it was sold to Simmons Hardware in St Louis October 1894. It was my second Parker and started me on a wonderful journey, started buying Parker "stuff" when visiting gun shows, antique stores and the Las Vegas Show. Then I think like many of the Parker Guys we have all this stuff and now what?
So I decided to case the gun. The barrels went of to Bachelder for refinishing, stock to Paul Fuchs and can't remember who cased hardened the action.
Then at the 2003 Las Vegas Gun Show Vern Blinkoff (Lincoln, CA name is misspelled) agreed to refurbish this old leather case for a box of antique shotgun reloading tools.
This is not a Parker Case however a means for me to store my Parker with a bunch of Parker Tools.
This old gun is my Turkey and we've taken multiple turkey in New Mexico and hopefully in Kansas next spring.

Wow, what a beautiful gun and total package. Just stunning. I love the coiled setter. I haven’t seen many engravings of coiled dogs.

hmmm, Send me a picture of the broken handle Bruce. I am pretty sure I can make it. If it like the Parker wood case I have then I can make them. I made a set for my case.
