Congratulations on a fine gun at a great price! Do what Dean says to clean the metal and use a Frontier pad. Here is a link to their site.

You will be amazed at the results and it will not scratch your blue or remove case color. After you get the metal clean, keep a light film of RIG on the gun and you'll never have the problem again.
Please consider joining PGCA and read as many posts as you can. The Parker Pages is full of great information as well. The more information that you absorb, the more you'll realize what a great first Parker that you have there!
