I think they are exactly that Murph--import marks from Giacomo Sporting of Rome, NY, who was the exclusive US importer for RG in the early 90's , but now deals mainly in Perazzis: https://www.giacomosportingusa.com/
The Firing Line here in Denver, took over as distributor in about 1996 but that lasted for less than 5 years from what I can tell. I think RG took it in house after that, but I really dont know for sure. At any rate, if the gun ever needs work I'll know who to send it to.
