i plan on shooting this one for sure..i don t know who s gona carry this thing for me but they need to be in good shape for sure..and i will post pictures and get a letter if possible...charlie

I feel like I am waiting to hear about a baby being born. Are the stampings reported correct, is it an 8 gauge, is the frame bigger than 3, questions and more questions. I would be very anxious if I were you. Did you get this gun yet? We need a follow up!

Some Parkers are made very heavy for the gauge and frame size. This may be one of them. My #6 frame ten weighs more than 13 pounds, way heavier than it had to be. I mostly shoot it with 7/8 ounce 12 gauge shells. It doesn't kick much. My nine pound VH 16 isn't much of a kicker either.

I've seen a stamped 5 mistaken for a 3 when the stamp wasn't deep. Charlie, is the gauge stamped on the lug along with the frame size??
