Yep, we had a fantastic time ! the nicer woods are the easy routes to the tangles where the birds hide ,our shins and the dogs pay the toll ....you have to really like it to do it

everything ive read said that this isnt a viable strategy. is this documented anywhere? does anyone know more about this? Turkeys have been widely redistributed like so but apparently not grouse.

Aaron, Missouri relocated grouse. Where they still manage habitat for them, there are birds.

interesting. The rgs seems to say that it cannot be done, at least not viably economically. One island in maine saw the rod and gun club bring in pheasants which are now semi wild. If they had known, perhaps grouse would have been a more appropriate choice.

There is a little knot of ringnecks on Pea Island on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I don't know how they got there.
