Only after Parker was moved by their new owners to Ilion, NY did they stamp a "repair code" on the gun. Parker records may have documentation of the additional barrels if the work was done at Meriden prior to 1919.

Harry- the "big 20" does handle very well and got me 3 banded ducks last Sat. using Federal Tungsten Polymer 3" Magnum loads 1 1/4 oz of #6 @ 1185 fps through .029/.029 chokes.

Michael,

That is a wonderful story. The "3" and "D" both represent the grade. Did your father hunt with the Parker?

Don-I have a #1 frame GH that has 28" barrels with .005 &.027 constriction that is well worn and I also have a GH within 80 serial numbers on a #1 frame with .029 in both barrels that is hardly used. I don't shoot it very well. Glad you can connect with yours.

Harry
