I would say that the host gets a heck of a lot right about Parker guns in a short video. He’s been around a while. But there certainly are jarring discrepancies, some of which he quickly corrects (or someone in the room prompts him to correct). And what makes it so rankling to our ears, is that when he does get it wrong, it was delivered with such a facile assurance.
As for the “one of the good guys” comment. Yup, with the emergence of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) corporate social credit scoring, we see no less than a fellow shotgunner, in a momentary reflex, like a puppet on a string. Overall, I still believe, despite the parts that have us cringing, I enjoyed watching it, and consider it is a net plus for the Parker world, the scope of which the video’s sponsor is extending to an international audience.

IMO 60% of the information purported to be fact is a combination of ill-conceived opinion mixed with non-factual BS.

OK, under duress, I watched it again. "I don't know who owns the Invincibles or where they ended up." "The single barrel is a pigeon gun." Absolutely no mention of a trap gun. "Parkers all have 2 1/2" chambers, so Orvis had to order in quantities of 2" shells for their customers." We should have a contest.

Remington ceased production of Parkers in 1939……WRONG !!!
Among the gauges Parkers were made in was the 24 gauge…… WRONG !!! And there was no mention of the 11 gauge or the 18 gauge. .

Funny, my 12g VHE is a live bird gun too. They can keep peddling Eurotrash.

Virginia NSSA skeet shooter Bob Hess had a 24 gauge Parker. It got away from him in the early 70's. Someone displayed it at the PGCA meeting and show at Nashville. I have Bob's VHE 20 gauge skeet gun. I tried to buy the last case of Bob's 24 gauge Remington shells, in wooden crate. The fellow who had the shells said he would sell them to me if I owned a 24 gauge gun. We could not strike a deal.

Bill, I wasn’t aware of a 24 gauge Parker.
I am aware on one 18 gauge having been made on a 16 gauge frame (0-frame) and was used extensively at a Skeet school I believe in Maryland or Delaware (Olin ?). The gun was offered to me at something like $20k and it came with 1 box of 18 gauge shells made exclusively for this gun. One of the 18 gauge shells was missing and the space in the box was filled with a 20 gauge shell. I know you know of this Parker Bill. BTW, I didn’t buy it… .
