Default 16 Gauge

The 16 gauge the ultimate upland game gauge: carries like a 20 but hits like a 12! If you want great quail hunting this year, Southeastern New Mexico is the best I've seen in 15 years. All "Blues" but you'll get your dogs on over a 100 birds a day.

Hmmm,,,, 16s and RSTs,,, the first time I used them in my 2 1/2" chambered M&F choked AH Fox on sporting clays, the results were dramatic on closer targets. I haven't counted holes yet either (waiting for Spring!) but it is apparent that they give you at least a degree of choke advantage at the interim ranges. I took the gun grouse hunting but never got a shot, which is what I really want to verify that using them at close range in a tight-choked gun is viable.

May we presume you're talking about spreader loads Kevin?
