Parker 2 barrel set with leather case

These are beautiful guns. Though not original they are still fine examples of Parker Bros. Guns. I am looking at the first gun, and wondering if you are from the midwest. In the 50's trap shooting was done a lot at night, and a old friend of mine removed case colors built large forends and used high gloss finishes so the Parkers and Foxes could be admired in the lights!

That would be my grandfather. He shot trap in Vandalia OH and other places. He was quite the trap shooter. He was on Remmington's team, from what I understand.

A C Bowman from Sac City Iowa refinished many Parkers for trap shooters. Your Grandfathers gun is just fine, and will not be a colledtor, but a treasure indeed!
