What an unfortunate adventure Harold, glad things are turning around, albeit expensively. Knock wood, I've been fortunate, I have friends who have not been so lucky. Good luck moving forward!!!

Harold,
Glad that your girls are on the mend. Have had similar experiences twice in SD with injuries to my dogs. Most importantly glad that you are all safe and back home!!

I'm glad everything turned out ok, because the anxiety of a wounded dog in the field can be gut wrenching

Harold, I am glad your dogs are ok. My son and I had a female setter that had a lung collapse in her kennel and she never recovered and we had to put her down. No real cause was ever determined. She was not even two.
